Sorry for the technical problems with the first site. I am now assured that this site will work if you accept your author invitations. I will reinstate the old posts and add a new one on getting onto the NCETM site and any general questions you may have or feelings about it.

I thought I’d start with myself this time. I am a Teaching and Learning Consultant at Southend B.C. I have been doing this job for two years (now into my third). Previous to this I have taught at 5 Primary schools and was a headteacher for two years in a very small village primary school.
ReplyDeleteI was a Mathematics Subject Leader for ten years in two different schools and have developed a real interest in mathematics which I came to as a real non-mathematician! I feel that, when you are confident in the subject you get a real buzz from teaching it and also from seeing children enjoying it. As some of you may know I still take every opportunity that I have to get involved with the teaching of the subject and try not to preach about it without trying to practise it first!
